Technician Testimonials

Student Gallery

Explore our Electrical Projects Gallery, featuring creations developed by my students during their time at NJC under my guidance. I am very proud of their accomplishments!

From system design to repair, each project, including a Compound DC Motor Speed and Position Control System, Remote Control Crane, Flow and Pressure Control System, and Mobile Solar Trainer, was crafted to serve as a training aid for subsequent students.

Utilizing Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), these automated systems offer both manual and automatic control capabilities.

This quote was given to me by the NJC Executive Vice President, Stanton Gartin, when I was teaching for the college. This quote sums up my view on training the young impressionable student to the stubborn technician.

"I have come to a frightening conclusion! I am a decisive element in the classroom. It is my personal approach that creates the class. It is my daily mood that makes the weather. As a teacher, I possess tremendous power to make a student’s life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration. I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated, and a student humanized or de-humanized."
