Meet Jason

Hometown Automation is Jason Hazlett

Jason Hazlett, a dedicated father, grandfather, and seasoned professional, brings a wealth of experience to the field of automation.

Having earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering many, many years ago, Jason’s journey has been marked by diverse roles in manufacturing, commercial agriculture, and renewable energy sectors.

For the past 12 years, he has been deeply involved in academia, teaching industrial controls and PLC programming while serving as the chair for the NJC Transportation & Energy department. Additionally, he spent 6 years as the CCCS Discipline chair for energy and industrial disciplines. With 13 years at Northeastern Junior College, Jason has honed his expertise in seamlessly integrating automation technologies across diverse systems.
